JOIN THE BAKERY
Crumb Together Bakery is a social enterprise for adults with disabilities. The program teaches skills that will enable its participants to qualify for a job in the bakery & food service industry. Participants who complete all the required training will be eligible to take the exam to receive ServSafe Certification, the Connecticut certificate for food handling & safety. The Serv Safe course is taught during designated times.
​This program is tailored for independent adults with special needs who do not require a 1-on-1 volunteer.
Location: Licensed, Catering kitchen located at Beth Israel Chabad 40 King Street, Norwalk
Fee (non refundable): $1,900 ($39.58 per day) per semester (16 weeks) Summer Session Fee: $275 weekly
ServSafe Course Exam Fee is not included
Dates and Times: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 9:30am -12:30pm
